Alyssa Korell
Alyssa Korell is a first year graduate student in the clinical psychology program at Idaho State and has been in the lab since Spring 2012. Since she joined, she has gained a true understanding of how research progresses and has developed a deep respect for it. As of now, Alyssa is not totally certain where her specific research interests lie, but her passion is towards the clinical realm. In this light, Alyssa's goals are aimed to becoming the best professional clinician she can possibly be.

Rachel Lale
Rachel is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology and joined Dr. Turley-Ames’ Working Memory Lab at ISU in 2012. Her clinical and research interests have been informed by her work in community mental health centers in both metropolitan and rural communities, the ISU Psychology Clinic, the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center-Behavioral Health Center, the Center for Understanding and Treating Anxiety (SDSU), and the UCSD Health Services Research Center. Clinically, she integrates an interpersonal approach with evidence-based technologies (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, Seeking Safety, Emotion-Focused Therapy, etc.) for individuals and couples, focusing primarily on anxiety, affective, and substance use presentations. Her primary research interests include information processing in anxiety and affective disorders, particularly in understanding how worry interferes with basic attention control processes, and how the use of volitional strategies might ameliorate this interference.
